I decided to use two of the teapot die-cuts to make this beautiful shabby chic greeting card. The card base is the standard 5 1/2 x 4 1/4. I layered designer paper over a taupe piece of card stock, leaving 1/8th of an inch off the edges (for that layered effect). Read More
For the month of October Spellbinders has a beautiful Card Kit just for you! First of all, it’s packed with goodies! From their dies, stamps, embellishments, stickers and die-cuts to their 6×6 paper pads, Spellbinders offers a very generous card kit. You get everything you need (including the pop-dots and double-sided tape) for your card making projects.
Hello Spellbinders fans! Today I have aSpellbinders September 2018 Card Kit Unboxing! Friends, I have some exciting news for you! Spellbinders decided to add a 6×6 paper pad to their already awesome Card Kit of the Month!
You get the dies, the stamps, the embellishments, the stickers, the ephemera pack, the double-sided tape, the pop-dots, the blank cards and envelopes, the card stock, and the paper pad so that you can create one-of-a-kind amazing looking greeting cards!
What’s also different aboutthis month’s kitis that there is so much ephemera (die-cut pieces) and so many stickers, that half of the cards I made didn’t involve any die-cutting at all. This makes for the perfect Saturday afternoon crop.
And of course, you get plenty of the fun Spellbinders dies that we all love! I had so much fun putting this card together! Let’s cross our fingers and hope that my daughter passes her driving test!
This one is another card that took no time to make. I just trimmed paper from the 6×6 pad, used the double-sided tape on a couple of ephemera leaves, pop-dotted the die-cut flower image, and added the sticker that says Lovely on the top. All of this was provided in the kit.
And if you’re in the mood for something Nautical, Spellbinders provides you with this theme too!
All in all, I must say this is their bestCard Kit of the Monthyet. I had so much fun making cards with this kit and I’m looking forward to making some more! Thank you Spellbinders!

My Card Making Tutorials
I hope that you find these tutorials easy to follow and that they inspire you to keep creating and to #NeverStopMaking. Happy Crafting and Good Luck on the Giveaway!
To make the cards I used White Card Stock and Designer Paper from my stash. I decided to go monochromatic on these card sets so I used white card stock to die-cut the shapes, and gold and silver card stock to accentuate a couple of pieces.
Once you put together your Hello Havana gift box, you’ll find how easy it is to embellish it using items from your stash, and the filigrees and frames from the Spellbinders Small Die Club of the Month.
White card stock trim at 4 3/4 x 5 1/2 then score at 2 3/4 and fold.
