Easy Cinco de Mayo Card Ideas

Use Your Ephemera
I made these cute Cinco de Mayo cards with scraps from my stash and fun summer theme ephemera.
Regardless of the occasion, I always add dimension to my cards. I think it gives them a little extra something.
I used Spellbinders Grate Works S2-019 for the iron motif on this card, pop-dotted the cactus for dimension and glued a festive banner on top.
When making your Cinco de Mayo party invitations remember to use fun, bright, happy colors. I highly recommend you go through your scraps! You never know what you might find!
Have Fun with the Envelopes
Your guests will know your party will be a blast when you hand them their invitations in fun decorated envelopes!
What I love about the decorated envelopes is that they can be reused in a number of paper crafting projects.
On this envelope I used a ready-made pinwheel from Hobby Lobby and the banner was created using Spellbinders Lacey Pennants Etched Dies S5-029.
Since I didn’t want anything going to waste, I decided to use the “negative” side of the Spellbinders Grate Works diecut to alter this envelope. I love how it came out!
