20+ Handmade Cards from 1 Spellbinders Card Kit

That’s right! It’s not a typo! I did indeed made 20+ Handmade Cards from just 1 Spellbinders Card Kit! As we paper crafters like to call it, I KILLED THIS KIT! If you follow me on YouTube, you would’ve seen my un-boxing for this month’s Spellbinders Spellblogger package. As I mentioned in the video, I decided on Maker’s Mart February Card Kit of the Month for this month’s project.  And just so you know, it doesn’t have to be February for you to order this specific kit.

I used about 98% of this February Card Kit of the Month.  It rendered 20, yes twenty Handmade Cards and three 3×3 note cards!  With the exception of a stamped sentiment here and a strip of washi-tape there, I stayed true to the kit. I wanted to show you how you can create all these beautiful cards with just one Spellbinders Card Kit.

What I enjoy about the Maker’s Mart by Spellbinders card kits is that you get several dies to go along with your card kit; and once you have gone through your kit, you still have your Spellbinders dies to use over and over and over again!  If you would like to get your hands on your very own Maker’s Mart by Spellbinders February Card Kit click here.

It was a lot of fun working with this kit! And friends, I’m not going to lie to you. I did have to set aside a major part of my day to create all these beautiful hand made cards.  I knew I didn’t want to leave one strip of paper, one strip of card stock behind.  I planned my week, setting aside a day of rest and relaxation ( which you and I very well know it means a day of crafting) and went to work on this kit! And I killed it! I can’t begin to tell you how thrilled I was when I saw the fruits of my labor and how there was almost nothing left!

card kit of the month

If you love to send out snail mail as much as I do, you are well aware of how costly this practice can be.  You can’t walk into your local supermarket or big-box retailer and buy a greeting card for under $5 or $6 dollars anymore.  And those little 3×3 cards, they’re what… 99¢ to $1.99? As you’ll be able to view in the following video, I made TWENTY beautiful, one of a kind greeting cards, with just one kit.  You do the math.

If you just happened to land on this page and are telling yourself, well, that’s fine and dandy if you have a die-cutting machine! I tell you that’s not a problem! I will link you to several different die-cutting machines that fit just about every need and most importantly every budget.  And when you purchase a Spellbinders die-cutting and embossing machine, you know you’re getting quality!
