Photo Frame Card Idea
This Photo Frame Card Idea uses the Spellbinders Floral Photo Frame by Sharyn Sowell. This is the second card making tutorial in my blog tutorial series; and I’m delighted to show you this beautiful card design using this Photo Frame die-set.
This card idea is super easy to make and you’ll be cranking these out in no time! Photo Frame Cards are perfect for wedding announcements, birth announcements, graduation and quinceanera invitations. So check the supply list below and let’s get started!
For these easy and elegant Photo Frame Cards you will need the following:
- Good quality white card stock
- Designer paper of your choice
- Fun foam
- Art Glitter Glue
- Flower Embellishment
- Flat back rhinestone
- Paper trimmer
- Score Board
- Spellbinders Floral Photo Frame by Sharyn Sowell
- Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die-cutting & Embossing Machine
First you start by trimming your card stock to 5 1/2 by 8 1/2. You then place your card stock horizontally on your scoring board and run your bone folder down the 4 1/4 inch mark. Then you fold your card along the score mark and you have your card base.
Next you will use designer paper or card stock of your choice and run it through your Spellbinders Platinum 6, with the frame die. Run another piece of card stock (I like to use Gold for my toppers), with your strip die, on your die-cutting machine.
With your art glitter glue, you then adhere your strip to the back of your frame. Attach a picture using the photo corners on to your frame. Your photo frame will take a 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 size picture.
Then, using scor-tape, you’ll cut a rectangular piece of fun foam and adhere it to the back of your frame, . Attach your mounted frame to the card base using your scor-tape. Embellish with a flower and a rhinestone, and you’re done!
