Pink Glam Traveler’s Notebook Setup and Flip Through

For this Pink Glam Traveler’s Notebook Setup I used items from my stash and embellishments made with paper-cutting-dies from Spellbinders.

Last year I found that I used my Webster’s Pages Traveler’s Notebook more often than I did my planner.  What I enjoyed about my Traveler’s Notebook last year was the ability to add as many or as little components (inserts) as I saw the need for.

With that in mind, I decided to setup several different traveler’s notebooks for 2018, each with a different purpose.  And since I’m looking to have several traveler’s notebooks, I have to think about price and how much I’m willing to spend for each one.  This is where my dies from Spellbinders come in.

Traveler’s Notebook Shaker Dashboard

My local crafting supplies store was running a huge sale on planners, planner accessories,

and this included traveler’s notebooks and their accessories as well. So I purchased three traveler’s notebooks along with the notebook inserts, some planning stickers and shaker dashboards.

Of course shopping for these items was half the fun; but the best part was thinking up ways to embellish my new traveler’s notebooks with items I already own!  And I tell you, when you can whip out those beautiful dies from Spellbinders again and again, they really are a true money saver!

For the bottom of my TN shaker dashboard, I went with the Spellbinders Die D-Lites Purrfect S3-214.

The beautiful gold piece you see on the top was made using Spellbinders Die D-Lites Outrageous Butterfly S2-069.  Peeking behind it, to the right corner of the pocket insert, I used Spellbinders Die D-Lites Victoria Corners S2-134.

Traveler’s Notebook Pocket Inserts

I used 12×12 designer paper to create the pocket inserts.  You’ll find a tutorial for those here.

To embellish this pocket insert I used the top die of the Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Cascading Grace Pocket S6-046.  Hanging from it you will find the Spellbinders Die D-Lites Acanthus Chandelier S2-178.  And as a reminder that you can have your cake and eat it too, I used the Spellbinders Layered Cake S1-006.

In the video, you’ll see the first pocket insert, that sits behind the shaker dashboard. That beautiful pocket insert was embellished with the Spellbinders Designer Series Vintage Elegance Braided Grace Square S4-733.

Decorating your Traveler’s Notebook Inserts

For the You & Me Wild & Free Traveler’s Notebook Insert, I used Spellbinders Die D-Lites Garden Weave S2-006.

I used Spellbinders Amazing Paper Grace Cascading Grace Pocket S6-046 on this beautiful pink and gold marble notebook insert.

Embellishing the Cover

To add that perfect touch of glam, and become inspired every time I pick up my Traveler’s Notebook, I used Spellbinders Stamp & Die Template Set Beautiful Dreamer SDS-055.
