Shabby Chic Tags

Shabby Chic Tags using Vintage Ladies from HonneyBunnies Treasures.  I created these cute shabby chic tags for my second and last guest design team project for Crafter’s Castle.  In the month of May, Crafter’s Castle is sponsored by HonneyBunnies Treasures.

how to make a shabby chic tag

These Vintage Ladies Shabby Chic Tags were made of canvas and paper.  To cut out the canvas tags I used my Spellbinders Contour Steel Rule Die Tag, You’re It.  I used the Spellbinders Platinum 6 Die-cutting machine to cut the canvas for this project.

For the backing I used regular card stock and applied the canvas to the backing using some double sided tape. My go-to double sided tape is Scor-tape.

I also applied gold eyelets using my We R Memory Keepers Crop-a-dile.

Use Your Dies

I used several different dies from Spellbinders to make the gold die-cut backgrounds to these beautiful vintage ladies.  For the lady in blue I used the Spellbinders Garden Weave Die D-Lites.  The lady above shows a sign post background, using the Spellbinders Victorian Sign Post Die D-Lites.  The tag below shows a background using the Spellbinders Ooh-La-La Die D-Lites

The one after that shows the sign from the Victorian Sign Post die-set.

The rest of the materials that I used are trims and flat-back pearls from my stash.   When applying your trims and flat-back pearls, you’ll want to use a little bit of hot-glue.Spellbinders Contour Steel Rule Die

I hope that you find inspiration in this Shabby Chic Victorian Ladies tag projects and make some of your own.
