Valentine’s Day Card Tutorial

Valentines Day Card Tutorial using the Spellbinders Tallulah Frill Layering Frame die S5-328.  Today’s tutorial is about one of my favorite holidays of the year, Valentine’s Day!

I LOVE Valentine’s Day!  And I certainly LOVE crafting for Valentine’s Day! What I really enjoy about this special day is all the handmade projects that I get to see throughout the web.  They’re full of inspiration and ideas; and my hope is to become your inspiration and give you some ideas as well.

My Inspiration

I knew I wanted to make a special Valentine’s Day Card for my husband.  I wanted to make it ME. I wanted my card to come from the heart.  Something that said this is how I feel about YOU.   So a store-bought card was not even a consideration.

I don’t know about you, but quite often when I’m crafting I play music that inspires me in my projects.  And this is what I had playing in the background:

So I took the prompt from Mr. Nat King Cole and ran with it!

If you think about it …. what is the most precious thing that you can give to that special someone?  It is pure and unconditional Love!  And thanks to my dies from Spellbinders, I can put all of my love into that one special project.

Spellbinders Designer Series Chantilly Paper Lace Collection

There are several designs in the new Spellbinders Chantilly Paper Lace collection.  If you’re into intricate, beautiful and feminine designs, I highly recommend that you check out this collection by clicking on the link above.

For this beautiful Valentine’s Day card I’m using the Spellbinders Designer Series Tallulah Frill Layering Frame Small S5-328.  For the larger frame that you see in gold, I used the larger piece in the Spellbinders Coralene’s Chemise Layering Frame Large S6-130.

For the LOVE sentiment I used the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Victorian Letters S6-036.

As you can see, this is one of those instances in which the dies from Spellbinders do all the work for you.  This card was super easy to make; and who doesn’t like easy?
