Hi crafty peeps! I thought that today we’d go over some card making mistakes to avoid in 2023. There are several common mistakes that people make when making cards:
- Not using the right size card or envelope: Make sure to choose a card and envelope that are the appropriate size for each other.
- Not using good quality materials: Using low quality paper or adhesive can result in a poorly made card that falls apart easily.
- Not paying attention to layout and design: It’s important to create a visually appealing layout, with a good balance of text and images.
- Not proofreading: Always proofread your card before sending it to ensure that there are no spelling or grammar errors.
- Not adding a meaningful message: It’s important to add a message that is thoughtful and heartfelt, rather than just a generic greeting.
- Not addressing the card properly: Make sure to address the card to the correct person and include their correct address on the envelope.
- Not mailing the card on time: Be sure to mail the card in time for it to reach the recipient on the appropriate occasion.
