Cute Shaker Cards

Cute Shaker Cards

Hello my paper crafting friends! Today I’m sharing some Cute Shaker Cards with you! What prompted me to start on some shaker cards was the Giveaway Challenge on the Loaded Envelope Galore Facebook group. This month they’re hosting a 3D camera box swap, along with a card making challenge. Although I won’t be able to participate in the swap, I have a bit of time to make one, two or three handmade shaker cards!

To make my Polaroid picture frame theme shaker I followed a tutorial, by Crafty Come Lately on YouTube, using a We R Memory Keepers Frame Punch Board. She explains the process extremely well and you get great results each and every time!

For my cards I used my 60 lb 8.5×11 white card stock. This size sheet will make two handmade cards, both A2 standard size (4 1/4 x 5 1/2). I then trim papers from my stash to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 and apply them to the outer face of my greeting card.

Tip: To dress up your card a bit further, add a mat to the inside and back portion of your card. This also provides stability to your card when you’re adding items that weigh down the front of your card.

And with embellishments and dies from my stash, I was able to make each shaker card unique!
