Decorating Notebook Covers with Spellbinders

Decorating Notebook Covers with dies from Spellbinders. In this tutorial I use dies from the Chantilly Paper Lace collection, Amazing Paper Grace, Coralene’s Chemise Layering Frame Large S6-130.  This gorgeous set of paper-cutting-dies are perfect for an array of crafting projects.

Lately I’ve been in the mood for making and decorating notebooks. So I whipped out my cinch, some chipboard, some card-stock, trimmed down some stationery, my dies from Spellbinders and this is what I came up with!

how to decorate your notebook covers

If you have a binding machine like the cinch, you too will be able to create your very own one-of-a-kind notebooks and notepads.  However, it’s not a problem if you don’t have one of these! I’m sure that your local Dollar Tree will have plenty of notebooks for you to alter.

Easy-Peasy Quick DIY!

What I love about altering notebooks or making some of my very own is that they’re  such an easy DIY.  In the course of a weekend, you can make several to sell, swap or gift to friends.  You can convert these into beautiful works of art just from the use of your dies from Spellbinders!

Notice how I didn’t have to fuss too much with the cover? The Spellbinders Chantilly Paper Lace collection has such beautiful and intricate dies that they pretty much do all the work for you!  I just added a handful of flat-back pearls, and I was done!

How to Decorate a Notebook Cover Tutorial

I have a quick and easy to follow tutorial where you can see how you can easily piece this together yourself.  You’ll learn how to add dimension to your front cover, and the type of tape and glues to use on a project such as this.  You’ll also see how useful the Spellbinders Tool n’ One really is! Enjoy!
