Graphic 45 Lost in Paradise

Graphic 45 Lost in Paradise

Today I’m sharing a Graphic 45 Lost in Paradise Shaped Mini Album. I love making mini albums, especially the shaped ones! So when I read that scrapbook.com was holding a National Scrapbook Day contest, I whipped out my Graphic 45 paper collections and dies and went right to work!

Graphic 45 Mini Album

Since I only had a couple of sheets left from my Graphic 45 Lost in Paradise collection, I thought it would be a good idea to pair it up with my Safari Adventure paper collection. And for the outer spine, I used a sheet from my Graphic 45 Love Notes collection.

To make this shaped mini album I used the Spellbinders Grand Holiday Cabinet die-set by Becca Feeken. Even though this is a card-making set of dies, I love figuring out new ways to use my metal dies!

On the spine I decided to punch a whole with my We R Memory Keepers Crop-a-Dile, add an eyelet for a nicer finish, run a piece of trim from my stash, and attach a locket. I used my Graphic 45 dies to embellish the front of the cover; and for the closure I used a Tim Holtz Hitch Fastener.

The inside of my mini album contains a pocket in the front and back cover (die-cut with my Graphic 45 Tag, Pocket and Butterfly Die-set), and three simple, yet ornate pages. The embellishments were done with my Graphic 45 frame and corner dies (from the Policy and Decorative Metal Die-set).

TIP: If you decide to run a piece of trim to hold your charm(s), use a couple of glue-dots to keep the trim in place.
