Graphic 45 Love Notes Mini Album Reveal

Hello my crafty friends! It’s been a couple of weeks since my Graphic 45 Love Notes Folio Mini Album teaser/reveal.  I have a tutorial 3-part mini-series on this folio, where I show you how easy the basic construction of a folio mini album can be.

Folio Mini Album Construction

I broke the basic construction of my Graphic 45 folios into a three part, easy-to-follow quick tutorial.

I also have a tutorial where I show you how to build a basic mini album.  Constructing a mini album base is fairly easy. Watch my tutorial here.

The Reveal

This Graphic 45 Love Notes mini album stands at a whopping 9″. It’s 7″ wide and the spine measures 3 and 3/4″.

Because I wanted to add a lot of elements inside this mini album, I knew that I had to have an inch gusset in between each of the pages.  I didn’t want to make the spine too wide, so that left me with enough space for three pages.  The pages are interactive with lots of room for pictures; and the two folios that I previously made are attached to the inside front and back covers.

Tip: Use your Graphic 45 chipboard pieces for closures.  I can’t begin to tell you how often I run out of strong, flat, scrapbook magnets.  These magnets don’t come cheap, especially if you make as many mini albums as I do.

The page on the right is a two-part flip page.  For the closing mechanism, what I decided to do is add a bottom pocket, and make a couple of photo mats.  These photo mats are large enough to cover up the flip pages and keep them in place. No magnets!

The page opposite to it has a flower embellishment that I made with the Graphic 45 Flower and Leaf die-set.

These two pages have a lot going on.  On the left I used the Graphic 45 Love Notes Pockets to make a tuck-spot for more photo mats, and a small envelope for a mini note.  The photo mats throughout this mini album were made with coordinating card-stock and Journaling cards.

On the right you find another flip page, except this one flips out instead of up; and it’s held in place with a Love Notes chipboard piece (again, no magnets).

I made an envelope using my We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board. I glued it down on three sides, leaving the top part as a pocket for another journaling card. The envelope closes with velcro dots and inside you’ll find more journaling cards.

I also used a chipboard piece to adorn the envelope, and a Spellbinders die for that cute frame on top.  The “Music gives wings to the mind” sentiment is from the Graphic 45 Love Notes sticker sheet.

Last but not least, you come to the last page.  I decided on another flower cluster on the instruments page, leaving plenty of room for pictures.  Then you have the other folio that is attached to the inside cover.

So how do you like my chunky Graphic 45 Love Notes mini album?  These truly are beautiful papers; and the elegant paper designs that Graphic 45 offers are a delight to work with.  I hope that I’ve inspired you to make one of your very own.

The Video

I decided to go Live on YouTube to share this beautiful Love Notes mini album, and the response was phenomenal!  I don’t do live videos very often, but it’s nice to chat with my subscribers every chance that I get.

The video is lengthy (short of an hour) because I chat with new and long time subscribers, answer questions, etc.
